Let’s be honest, life can get a bit “FULL” sometimes right? Especially, if you’re Pretty Motivated to have it all, be it all and maintain your sanity. This is a lot for any human even a super hero like you! So we have to find a way to decompress so stress doesn’t build up in our bodies or our minds. Here are a few ways you can do this. Some of these will require more time than others, but if you can find just 10 minutes out of your day then there’s a way to clear it all out for clarity.
Light it Up – Light up a candle and stare at the dancing flame for 10 minutes. Turn off your phone, let the kids know mommy will be away for a few minutes so play nice. Then, just zone out into the beautiful red and orange hues of the fire.
Breathe Baby Breathe – You can do this first thing in the morning or right before sleep. All electronics must be at least 10 feet away and on silent. Sit up, shoulders back, place your hand on your stomach, and as you breathe in push your tummy outward. Do this for at least 10 breaths. This oxygen boost will clear out any stress that built up in the body.
Send Your Love – Stressful day?! Get out a piece of paper and begin writing, “I love ______”. Fill in the blank with all the people, places, and things you love. It’s a gratitude exercise, but if you can write down at least 10 things you love the stress will melt and you find yourself filled with love and clarity.
You can try one of these or all 3 of these for a week. The results will be more mental space, room for new decisions, and discovery. If our minds are cluttered sometimes we can’t see the greatness and opportunities right in front of us. You can use these when you find yourself having to make a BIG decision because these steps are designed for you to clear you mind to find clarity and peace.
